Investing considerably in her education and advancement over the years from New York, Miami, Toronto, Vancouver and more brings a larger, more progressive skill set to her clients. Working as an educator, stage artist, makeup artist, mentor, and notable member on Artistic Teams of other known Salons Fran has seen it all.

Developing a keen sense of vision and style interpretation along with a wealth of knowledge combined with her creativity has resulted in the successful stylist she is today. A certified colourist with a passion and enjoyment for the technical and scientific element of colour creativity and transformations is what drives her in her business.

A warm, easy way of communicating and connecting with people along with her diverse skill set has given her the loyalty and incredible bonds she has with her clients. There is a “quirky and playful” side to her personality, sometimes breaking into song or a little dance at her styling-chair. Living in, and enjoying the moment and encouraging others to do the same is her belief.

Barb has been in the business for over 20 years and has always been intrigued and spellbound by the variations of hair on television growing up. Playing with her mom's hair at an early age she soon realized she not only enjoyed it but had a natural creative talent. This early experience led her to a career in the beauty industry, excelling as a hairstylist. Barb enjoys the creative freedom and love for her clients this path has given her. It’s what drives her!

Always open and eager to learn and grow in this ever-changing industry Barb is constantly adding to her repertoire with the latest trends and procedures. She is a perfectionist with her work, cares about her guests and will leave you looking your finest each visit.

Enjoying the outdoors in her free time is another avenue that has given her freedom and joy taking advantage of every opportunity to indulge in the mountains. Barb also enjoys being creative in the kitchen and exploring new recipes and markets around the city.
